An impressive wedding ceremony was performed at 5 o’clock, Saturday evening, Sept. 4, 1937, which united the lives of Miss Exelda Ramberg, formerly of Thorp (Clark Co.), Wis., and Cedric Neilson of Mendota, Ill.

The vows were spoken to the soft strains of "I Love You Truly," at the Lutheran Church of Owosso, Mich., Rev. P. Beecken officiating, in the presence of immediate relatives.

The attendants were Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Edwards, brother-in-law and sister of the groom.

The bride was attired in a Fall gray suit, with accessories of blue and silver, and wore a corsage of pink roses and delphiniums. The matron of honor wore a Fall brown gown with accessories of gold. She carried an arm bouquet of Fall flowers.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Ramberg of Thorp, Wis., and is a graduate of the Thorp High School. She also attended the Vocational School at Wausau, Wis.

The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Neilson of Mendota, Ill., and a graduate of Mendota High School and L.P. College at Peru, Ill. He was employed at Walgreen’s Drug Store at Mendota, Ill.
