Ratsch, Anita (Marriage - 24 May 1942)

The marriage of Glenn Marden and Miss Anita Ratsch took place at St. John’s Lutheran parsonage, Neillsville, at six p.m., Sunday evening May 24, 1942, the Rev. William A. Baumann conducting the single-ring ceremony, followed by an eight o’clock dinner at the home of the bride’s parents, only relatives and close friends being in attendance.

The bride, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Ratsch of the town of Grant, was gowned in an olive green dress, street length. She wore a corsage of pink tea roses. Her attendant, Grace Enhelder, a cousin of the groom wore a rust colored dress and a corsage of yellow tea roses.

Mr. Marden is a son of Mrs. Eva Marden of Neillsville, Wis. He wore a teal blue suit and a red carnation boutonniere. Harold Ratsch, brother of the bride, was best man. He also wore a suit of tea blue and a white carnation boutonniere.

The groom, an auto mechanic, is employed at the R. H. Welsh Chevrolet.
