Announcement has been made of the marriage of Miss Lynda A. Sommers, W. Blodgett street, Marshfield, to Edward Meyer, Loyal. The ceremony was performed Monday Oct. 9, at Postville, Iowa with Justice of the Peace Joseph B. Steele officiating at the 11 o'clock ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl Sommers, Marshfield, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Meyer, Loyal.

A street-length dress of boy blue, designed with a bustle back and three quarter length sleeves, was worn by Mrs. Meyer. She also wore a velvet turban of burgundy, a black fur jacket, and other accessories in the burgundy shade. Her corsage was of mixed flowers. The couple's only attendants were Leo O. Mrs. Meyer is employed at the J. C. Penny Company store, Marshfield. The groom is in business with his father and operates the "Club Mi's" here.
