Habeck, Beverly (Marriage - 24 Sept. 1938)

In a ceremony performed Sunday afternoon at St. John’s church in Romeo, Rev. H. C. Hintz officiating, Miss Beverly Habeck, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Habeck of Unity, and Charles Justman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Justman of the town of Unity, were united in marriage.

The bride wore a street-length frock of teal-blue crepe, with a corsage bouquet of tea roses and pompoms and her sister, Miss Delores Habeck, who was her only attendant, was dressed in rust silk crepe and wore a corsage bouquet of autumn flowers. The bridegroom was attended by Merlin Justman.

A reception was held throughout the afternoon at the home of the bride’s parents, which was decorated for the occasion with streamers of blue and white festooned from a large white wedding bell. Supper was served, covers being laid for 50. Out-of-town guests present were Mr. and Mrs. Hilbert Pagel and family, of Wauwatosa, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Campbell, and Mr. and Mrs. Willard Homachek, Eau Claire, Harold Campbell, and Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Habeck and son, Madison, Edward Habeck, Wausau, and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Justman, Wheeler.

Mr. and Mrs. Justman will leave October 1st for a short wedding trip to Eau Claire, Wheeler and other points in the state. They are to reside on the Alfred Justman farm near Unity. The bridegroom is employed in the box factory at Riplinger.
