Northup, Donna Mae (August 31, 1941 - September 8, 2007)

Donna Mae Northup, age 66, of Lublin, passed away at her home on Saturday, September 8, 2007.

A memorial service will be held at her home, W14192 Hwy 64, at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2007, with Rev. Terri Blomberg officiating.

Donna Mae Schade was born on August 31, 1941 in Spencer, WI to Adelhardt and Ruth (Schwantes) Schade. She was raised and educated in Spencer, graduating from Spencer High School in 1959. Donna was united in marriage to Donald E. Northup on January 27, 1962 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencer. They moved to Waterford and Donna worked as a purchasing agent for the J. I. Case Corp until retiring in 1997. In 2000, they moved to Lublin and have resided there since. She was a member of the Miller Dam Lake Association and served as the treasurer for four years.

Donna had many interests, but especially enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, and her flower gardens.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Donald, of Lublin; three children: Debra Northup of Cadott, Daniel (Cathy) Northup of Rhinelander, and Dennis (Kim) Northup of Waterford; seven grandchildren; one sister, Darlene (Don) Hoefs of Sun City, AZ; Don (Jan) Schade of Menomonee Falls; and Larry (Megan) Schade of Spencer.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Thorp Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
