Brian Shuk, age 48, of Sheridan, IL, former Stanley, WI resident, passed away on September 15, 2007 in Ottawa, IL.

Funeral ser3vices will be on Friday, September 21, 2007 at 12:30 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church with Fr. Robert Nelson officiating. Friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Plombon Funeral Home and one hour prior to services on Friday. Interment will be at St. Bernard’s Cemetery in Thorp, WI at a later date. Plombon Funeral Service is assisting the family with arrangements.

Brian was born in Stanley, WI on May 27, 1959, the son of Andrew and Marian (Smith) Shuk. He grew up in Stanley attending Holy Family School and graduating from Stanley-Boyd High School in 1977. He then served his country in the U. S. Air Force for four years. He then lived and worked in DeKalb, IL since. Beside his love for his family, he enjoyed cooking, fishing and driving through the countryside.

He is survived by his daughter, Tracey Shuk, of DeKalb, IL; parents, Andy & Marian Shuk of Stanley, WI; his siblings: Andrea (Paul) Kuehni of Delavan, WI, Linda (Ken) Blazel of New Berlin, WI, Barbara (Joe) Ramierz of Richmond, VA, Rod (Terry) Shuk of Stanley, WI, and Kevin Shuk of San Jose, CA plus many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Henry & Marion Smith and Andrew & Annie Shuk and one nephew, Travis.
