Domer, Amelia #2 (17 DEC 1861 - 1 JAN 1939)

Mrs. William Domer, the former Amelia Schulte, passed away at the family home in the town of Unity (Clark Co., Wis.) at 2:30 a.m. on New Years Day. She was 77 years of age.

Amelia Domer was born in the town of Herman, Sheboygan County on Dec. 17, 1861. Mr. and Mrs. William Domer were pioneers of this section, having lived here over 53 years. Her husband preceded her in death in May 1938.

Funeral services were held at the Lutheran Church at Ripplinger Wednesday afternoon, the Rev. F. Albrecht officiating.

Surviving are the following children, Mrs. Rose Martin of Unity, Mrs. Anna Orth of Abbotsford, Mrs. Pauline Justman of Unity, Mrs. Minnie Neuman of Green Grove, Leo William and Theodore Domer of Unity, Carl Domer at home, and 22 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; sisters, Mrs. Pauline Engel and Mrs. Rose Klingbeil of Chicago; brothers, Robert and Charles Schulte of Colby, Arthur Schulte of Marathon City, Emil Schulte of Dubuque, Ia.; and Mrs. Laura Lipprandt of Owen, Mrs. August Buchholz of Holcombe, Mrs. Ed Awe of Owen, Mrs. Ed Cumach of Sturdevant. Mrs. Clara Altenberger another sister, preceded her in death only by a few weeks.

The deceased will be remembered by many as a good Christian, an industrious worker and of having a congenial disposition.
