Hewey, Charles #2 (23 AUG 1860 - 24 JAN 1939)
Charles Hewey passed away at his home in Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) at 10:15 p.m. on Jan. 24, 1939. He was 78 years of age.
Mr. Hewey was born in Phillips, Maine, on Aug. 23, 1860. He was united in marriage to Miss Kristina Knutsen on Oct. 26, 1914, at Withee. They have resided five miles south of Owen, in the town of Green Grove until Nov. 5, 1938, when they moved to Owen, Wis.
Funeral services will be held from the Owen Gospel Tabernacle on Friday afternoon at two o’clock. Interment will be made in Riverside Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife and a host of friends.
