The marriage of Miss Dorothy Glasshof, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Glasshof, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Mr. James Biddle, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Biddle Sr., also of Thorp, took place Saturday evening, Dec. 3rd, 1938 at 8:30 o’clock in the Full Gospel Mission, Eau Claire, Wis. Rev. J.P. Rulein performed the ceremony.

The bride was attended by the groom’s sister, Mrs. John Pagel. The bride’s brother, Truman Glasshof, attended the groom.

The bride was gowned in blue chiffon velvet and wore a shoulder corsage of talisman roses and chrysanthemums. Her matron of honor was dressed in dubonnet and also wore a shoulder corsage.

The groom and his attendant wore boutonnieres of white chrysanthemums.

A reception was given for the bridal party and their friends at the home of Rev. and Mrs. Rulein immediately after the ceremony.

The newlyweds spent their honeymoon at Duluth and Superior and returned to Thorp on Wednesday. They will make their home on the George Biddle farm, which the groom is operating.
