Hautamaki, Robert "Bob" L. (12 June 1934 - 7 Oct. 2004)

Mr. Robert "Bob" L. Hautamaki, 70, of Markesan, died Thursday, Oct. 7, 2004, at Berlin Memorial Hospital.

Bob was born in Waukegan, Ill., on June 12, 1934.

He served his country in the United State Air Force from January 1956 to March of 1963. On March 9, 1957, he married Marlene A. Dallman in Colby, Wis.

Bob worked for WI Gas Co. for eight years, owned and operated Bob’s Snack Shop for 14 years and B & J Electric and Heating for 12 years.

Bob had served as mayor of Markesan, City Council, and Markesan Lions Club.

Survivors include his wife, Marlene; two sons, Jeffrey of Elroy and Scott (Sandy) of Fairwater; five grandchildren, Hannah, Lia, Brina, Tyler and Ryan; one great-grandson, Ian; one stepsister, Ellen DeJarnette of California; one stepbrother, Pat Leverty of Michigan; dear friend, Marv Olson and Dr. Paul Plueddeman.

Services: Family graveside services will be held at the Colby Cemetery.

Visitation: Visitation was held on Saturday Oct. 9, 2004, at the Wachholz Family Funeral Home in Markesan.

A memorial has been established.
