La Combe, Mary Ellen (27 Dec. 1907 - 15 June 2005)

Mary Ellen La Combe, 97, Green Bay, died Wednesday, June 15, 2005, following a lengthy illness. She was born Dec. 27, 1907, in Granton, Wisconsin, to the late William and Ethel Fulwiler. In 1940, Mary Ellen married Earl P. La Combe. He passed away in 1959. She was a very hard working woman, a pleasant woman, and the best that has been. Mary Ellen was a devoted and loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Bless her, she is happy now to be with her mom and dad, her husband and our greatest, Lord Jesus Christ. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Betty J. and Jack Ruffert, Cecil; one son-in-law, Don Rohlinger, Florida; 15 grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Alice Marie Rohlinger; her parents; two brothers and one sister.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 6 pm. Friday. The funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Barbara Ristow officiating. Burial will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park.

The family of Mary Ellen La Combe wishes to thank the staff of Western Village for their love and care given to Mary Ellen.
