Radke, Vivian (Marriage - Sept. 1942)

The marriage of Miss Vivian Radke and Otto Gorzelitz took place at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Radke, Rev. W. A. Baumann officiating.

The bride was dressed in a Royal blue crepe street-length dress with gold accessories and a tiara of white roses. The groom wore the conventional blue.

The bride was attended by her sister, Dolores, as maid of honor. She was dressed in a leaf green crepe street-length dress with tan accessories and a tiara of light yellow roses. The groom was attended by Don Churkey, a friend, as best man. Mr. Churkey wore a gray suit, both the groom and his attendant wearing boutonnieres.

The bride’s mother wore blue crepe and green accessories, wearing a light yellow dahlia and fern in her hair. Also present were close relatives and friends of the couple.

The wedding supper took place at six p.m. at the home of the bride’s parents. The room was prettily decorated in blue, white and green streamers and a white wedding bell. A beautiful white wedding cake, decorated with flags, was baked for the occasion by the bride’s aunt, Mrs. N. A. Brission of Chippewa Falls, Wis.

Those in attendance from other cities were, the brides’ father from St. Paul, where he is employed; Mr. and Mrs. N. A. Brission and son, Theron, and Mrs. L. Morrison, Chippewa Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gorzelitz and son, Fred Jr., Reedsville, a brother of the groom; Mr. and Mrs. C. Churkey, Owen; Mr. and Mrs. L. Sternitzky, Granton, and Mr. and Mrs. K. Haskins, sons and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John Gullickson and Mrs. E. Schlinkert and son, all of Neillsville, Wis.
