Dolbin, John (8 SEP 1891 - 3 FEB 1939)

John Dolbin, 47, died at his home in the town of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), Feb. 3rd, 1939, of cancer of the left lung. Doctors had given up hope of his recovery several weeks ago.

The deceased was born in Poland on Sept. 8, 1891 and came to this country at the age of nineteen years and located in Thorp. On Sept. 24, 1924 he was united in marriage to Miss Nellie Marczalek at St. Hedwig’s Church. To this union were born one daughter, Lilly, now 13 years of age, and one son, Stanley, 12, who with his widow, mourn his loss. Other surviving relatives are two brothers, Frank and Joseph in Poland, two sisters, Frances in Poland and Mrs. Mary Syko in Canada.

Funeral services were conducted at St. Hedwig’s Church on Wednesday morning at ten o’clock, Rev. Steve Dzialkowski officiating, and interment being made in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Louis Dymek, Louis Kobylinski, Joe Konieczny, Paul Marek, Paul Konieczny and John Kobylarczyk.
