Janssen, Angeline T. (31 Oct. 1925 - 27 Feb. 2007)

Angeline T. "Toots" Janssen, age 81, formerly of Stanley, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007, at Clark County Health Care Center, Owen, Wis.

A Christian burial Mass will be held on Friday, March 2, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, Stanley, Wis., with Father Robert Nelson officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date. Friends and family may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

Plombon Funeral Service is assisting the family with arrangements.

Angeline was born in the town of Delmar on Oct. 31, 1925, the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Mahal) Wundrow. She grew up in the Stanley area attending rural schools. She was united in marriage to Giles Janssen and later divorced. She then moved to Stanley in 1980 and has resided here since. She enjoyed playing cards, Bingo and being with her many friends.

Angeline is survived by her children, Pat (Marty) Marthaler and Keryl (Dick) Schoch, both of Boyd, Jodie (Jim) Mnikolaicik of Stanley, Dick (GeorgiaAnn) Janssen of Milwaukee and Dennis Janssen of Decatur, Ga.; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one brother, Norman Wundrow of Stanley; and one sister, Janice (Harold) Guyette of Holcombe.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Alvina Romanowski, Amelia Geist and Rozella Mahr; and one brother, Arnold Wundrow.
