HIGH SPRINGS, Fla. - Gertrude T. Mogensen, 87, of High Springs, Fla., and formerly of Crystal Lake, died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2005, in Gainesville, Fla.
She was born Dec. 14, 1917, in Withee, Wis., to Ferdinand and Anna Molzan. In 1941, she married Harry Mogensen in 1941.
She was a hard worker all of her life. She had a strong faith in God and loved to travel. Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Mogensen of High Springs, and a son, Michael Mogensen of Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by her husband.
The graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, at Windridge Memorial Park, 7014 S. Rawson Bridge Road, Cary.
