Popko, Anna (3 JUL 1939)

Mr. Walter Zurawski and Mrs. Anna Popko of Lublin were united in marriage in a ceremony performed at the courthouse in Medford on July 3rd, 1939 at eleven o’clock in the morning.

They were attended by Joseph Wozniak of Lublin, and Minnie Bernat, Phillip Gornell and Dolores Kaminski of Chicago. The bride was attired in a winter sun lace gown and carried a bouquet of American Beauty roses. Her bridesmaids wore wine lace and base dresses.

A reception and wedding dance was given in the Lublin Club Hall in the evening, largely attended by friends and relatives. After a trip to Chicago the couple will be at home on a farm near Lublin.

Guests from Chicago attending the wedding festivities were: Mrs. Walter Bernat, Mrs. John Kaminski, Mrs. Dan Wasney, Mrs. Leo Filas, Mrs. Bruno Bernat, Mrs. Phillip Gornell, and John Morris, and Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Tobola of Thorp.
