Bobb, Thomas A. (9 NOV 1857 - 16 NOV 1939)

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. W. Powe of Owen, at the Reseburg Congregational Church Sunday afternoon for Thomas Bobb, 82, respected resident of the town of Reseburg (Clark Co., Wis.), who passed away on Thursday, Nov. 16th, 1939. Mr. Bobb was a charter member of the Reseburg Congregational Church.

Thomas Allen Bobb was born in Orion, Wis., on Nov. 9, 1857. He came to Reseburg in the year 1892 and has since been a resident of that township, active in affairs for the betterment of the community and serving faithfully in the several capacities as town and school official. Mrs. Bobb passed away eight months ago. Six children survive, Newton Bobb of Ashland; Arthur, Virgil, Lena (Mrs. Percy Marshall), Annie, (Mrs. Ed Asselin), of Thorp; Allie (Mrs. Walter Klaar) of Colby, and twenty-three grandchildren; one brother, Peter E. Bobb of Zephyr Hills, Fla.

The body was laid to rest in Sylvan Cemetery in Reseburg. Six grandsons of the deceased acted as pallbearers, Norman and Kenneth Bobb, Gerald, Lyle and Laverne Asselin, and Donald Marshall.
