Arndt, Emily (Marriage - 28 Oct. 1942)

Miss Emily Arndt, 720 So. Walnut, Inglewood, Cal., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Arndt, Neillsville, and Ernest M. Lynch, 515 So. Walnut, Inglewood, Cal., son of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Lynch, Brea, Calif., were united in marriage at eight p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, 1942, at Morningside Evangelical Lutheran Church, Inglewood, the Rev. Franklin Swanson being the officiating clergyman. Edwin Davies sang, "Oh Perfect Love" and "Because," accompanied by John Broadhent, who also played the wedding march.

The bride wore an RAF blue two-piece suit dress, with matching hat and accessories. She wore a corsage of white orchids. Mrs. Alice Crockett, a sister, of the bride, wore a honey brown ensemble gown. She also wore a hat and accessories to match. Her corsage consisted of purple orchids.

Howard Messamer acted as best man, while John Walgren was the usher.

The bride was graduated from the Neillsville High School. She is a graduate nurse, employed with the Douglas Aircraft Company. The bridegroom, who also is employed by the D. A. Company, is a graduate of UCLA.

A reception followed the ceremony in the reception room of the chapel, there being fifty guests present; The couple returned to Inglewood following a brief honeymoon trip, where they will make their home.
