Singstock, Caroline (Marriage - 30 Mar. 1940)

Miss Caroline Singstock, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Singstock, and Merlin Seefeld, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Seefeld, were united in marriage Saturday, March 30, 1940, at 6:00 P.M. at the home of the bride, Rev. M. C. Goetsch reading the marriage ceremony. Mrs. Oscar Singstock acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Mr. Oscar Singstock.

The bride was attired in a becoming navy blue jacket dress, sheer crepe - rose and white dot trim. The bridesmaid wore a dress of sheer crepe, powder blue bodice with royal blue skirt and trim.

A wedding dinner was given at the home of the bride, the home being nicely decorated with blue and rose streamers and a large white wedding bell. A wedding cake was the center piece on the dinner table.

Immediate families were present: Mr. and Mrs. Fred Seefeld, Paul and Arlena Seefeld and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Seefeld and son, Dennis, of the town of Unity, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Singstock and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Singstock of Oshkosh, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Singstock and daughter, Audrey, of Cherokee, Mr. Milbert Singstock of Colby, Miss Ella Prange of Unity, Rev. and Mrs. M. C. Goetsch and son, Harold, of Colby, Wis.

A wedding dance will be given at Ted’s hall at Riplinger Saturday evening, April 6th.

After April 6th, the couple will be at home at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Seefeld where the groom is employed at present and later will be employed at the Riplinger box factory.
