Schneider, Marie (19 Mar. 1910 - 15 Nov. 1940)

Mrs. George Schneider died of a heart ailment at 2:15 Friday morning at her home in the town of Hull at the age of 30 years. She had been in poor health for over a year. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 1:30 P.M. at the family home and at 2:00 P.M. at St. John’s Evangelical and Reformed church in Colby, Rev. S. A. Schmiechen officiating, and internment was made in the Colby cemetery. Pall bearers were Neal Huhn, Marion Brotherton, Carl Sommer, Roland Brehm, Frank Brown and Joe Felchelm. Those in charge of the flowers were Loraine Punke, Margie Rucks, Dorothy Rucks, Doris Fleske, Rella Hoernke, Alma Hoernke and Erma Hoernke.

Mrs. Schneider, nee Marie Punke, was born March 19, 1910, in the town of Frankfort and was married in the town of Wien on April 26, 1933, to George Schneider. They lived in towns of Frankfort and Hull until five years ago when they moved to the city of Colby, Wis. While in the city, Mr. Schneider was employed by Wm. C. Pacholke, heating, plumbing and electric contractor. They recently left Colby to live in the town of Hull, Wood Co., Wis.

Surviving are her husband and two small sons, Verland and Melvin. Also three sisters and seven brothers, Mrs. William Hoernke and Mrs. Albert Hoernke of the town of Frankfort, Mrs. Frank Fieske of Edgar, Phillip Punke of Edgar, Rudolph of Marshfield and Herman, Arnold, William, Carl and Bernard Punke of Athens.

Out of town relatives here for the funeral were Mrs. Alfred Hertl of School Hill, Mrs. Carrie Cumberman of Cecil, Mrs. Annie Schneider, John Welnitz and Fred Welnitz of Oconto Falls.
