Keuer, Viola Anna (August 17, 1916 - October 15, 2007)
Viola Anna Keuer, age 91, of Granton, died October 15, 2007, at the Neillsville Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Viola, daughter of Oswald and Anna (Malig) Pischer, was born August 17, 1916, in the Town of Grant. She received her education at Wild Rose School, Town of Grant, and Zion Lutheran School. Viola was married to Ray Keuer on May 2, 1936, at Zion Lutheran parsonage. She was a homemaker. Viola was a life-long member of Zion Lutheran Church and of the Ladies Aid. She was also a member of the Granton and Chili Senior Citizens.
She is survived by one daughter, Annabelle (Ronald) Garbisch, of Granton; three grandchildren, Bob (Wanda) Garbisch; Tammy (Paul) Dunnigan; and Terry Garbisch; two great-grandchildren, Laura and Ashley Garbisch; and one brother, Harvey (Amber) Pischer, of Neillsville, Wis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray; one son, Edward; one grandson, Bradley Garbisch; and one brother, LeRoy Pischer.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2007 at Zion Lutheran Church, Granton, with visitation from 5-8 p.m. at Buchanan Funeral Home, Neillsville, and 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the church. Rev. John Trewyn will officiate with organist, Caroline Helm. Burial will take place at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Granton.
