Rogers, Margaret (Marriage - 17 Feb. 1942)

Miss Margaret Rogers, daughter of Mrs. J. Elmer Rogers of Denver, Colo., became the bride of Norman M. Orth of Colby, at a ceremony performed at St. Mary’s Catholic church parsonage in Colby Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock, Rev. J. L. Lang reading the marriage ceremony. The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Davis of Colby, Wis.

The bride was attired in a becoming navy blue crepe suit with hat and shoes to match and white gloves. Her bouquet consisted of white roses, stocks and snapdragons. Mrs. Davis wore a light blue crepe suit with gloves to match and black hat and shoes. She carried a bouquet of pink roses, stocks and snapdragons.

Following the wedding ceremony, dinner was served to members of the immediate families at the home of the groom.

Out of town relatives here for the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Vern Luepke and family of Toulon, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. John Pudlas and family of Boyd, Mrs. Walter Frook and son, David, of North Fond du Lac, and Private Conrad Orth of Camp Livingston, La.

Before her marriage, the bride was employed as a bank teller in Denver. The groom is bookkeeper at the Kriplean Brothers garage in Colby, Wis.
