Unity, Wis. - July 8, 1943
Carl Domer, who has been in the U.S. army the past year, was given his honorable discharge and arrived home from Camp Livingston, La. Carl had passed the age of 38.
Mrs. Fred Carstensen and grand daughter, Donna May, of Fond du Lac, are visiting at the home of Mrs. Allie Bronkhorst in the town of Unity, Wis.
Richard Glaman of Milwaukee is visiting at the home of his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Kuehling, and will assist with the farm work during the haying season.
William Thayer and Mrs. Agnes Thayer spent the past week at Mauston with the former’s son, Perry, who owns a tourist camp there.
Mrs. Fred Pauls and daughter, Sandra, who have been guests of Mrs. Pauls’ parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Wiedenhoeft, returned to their home in Schofield Sunday.
Mrs. Theo. Lueloff and daughter, Miss Gertrude, of Colby were guests of Mr. and Mrs. T. R. Salter Sunday afternoon.
Herman Leffel, who is doing defense work in Milwaukee, spent the past week at his home here.
Mr. and Mrs. Al Sorenson of Great Lakes, Ill., were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Sorenson.
Miss Virginia Purkis of Chicago is spending this week with her grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Purkis.
Miss Ermagarde Greening of Marshfield spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Mandel.
