Pagel, Beth (15 JUN 1940)

Mr. Clarence Fisher, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Fisher of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Beth Pagel, daughter of Mrs. Wm. Pagel of the town of Reseburg (Clark Co.), were joined in holy wedlock at a nuptial high mass sung by Father A.M. Muckerheide at St. Bernard’s Church here at eight o’clock Tuesday morning, June 15th, 1940.

The bride was beautifully attired in a white gown of lace and tulle over satin and wore a fingertip veil. She carried a bouquet of white roses and swansonia.

The groom and his attendants wore blue suits.

They were attended by Richard Leichter, a cousin of the groom, and Miss Pearl Pagel, sister of the bride, and James Pagel, brother of the bride, and Miss Frances Leichter, the groom’s cousin. Miss Pagel was dressed in blue marquisette and carried a bouquet of talisman roses and swansonia, as did Miss Leichter, who wore a dress of white marquisette over peach.

The wedding reception was held at the home of the bride’s mother, where about eighty-five guests joined in the festivities. A dance was held at the Mileaway Pavilion in the evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Fisher left Wednesday on a honeymoon to be spent in the southern part of the state. Their many friends in this community join in extending best wishes.

Out of town guests at the wedding were: Frances, Richard and Carl Leichter, of Loganville, Mrs. Edwin Ward and son Edwin of Reedsburg, Kendall Fisher, Chippewa Falls, Mrs. Henry Broeren, Tiskilwa, Ill., Mrs. Kate Van Abel, Madison, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Broeren, Medford, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Broeren, Bloomer and Mrs. Floy Colby of Strum.
