Unity, Wis. - Nov. 22, 1882

Miss Maggie Rensimer has been home for a few days.

Albert Barber called on old friends in Unity last week.

Chas. Flood has his house raised and has gone home for a few days.

Miss Anna Petrie commenced school Monday in James Allen’s district.

Don’t fail to hear Chapman’s concert Wednesday night. Come and hear the children sing.

Don’t fail to attend the literary society, Friday evening, and hear the "Burgular Alarm."

Mr. and Mrs. Leon Barber, of Merrill, are in Unity, Wis. We hear that they intend remaining for the winter.

Mrs. A. C. Marsh’s mother, Mrs. Stage, who has been visiting her daughter, and sister, Mrs. J. H. Cook, returned home Monday.

On Monday a division was made in the high school and a new department established. Miss Mattie Marsh has been engaged as second assistant.

A few of our citizens were invited Sunday evening to hear the praise service by the vocal class. Uncle Stephe ? would make a new minister *** Note: The rest of the article was cut off and not available at the time of transcription.
