Henkel, Adeline (15 Nov. 1877 - 18 June 1945)

Mrs. William Henkel of Park Falls, a former resident of Colby, Wisconsin, died on Monday morning at 5:00 o’clock at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital where she had been a patient for a week. Funeral services were conducted at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby on Wednesday afternoon, Rev. M. B. Ferguson, pastor of the Colby Methodist church, officiating, and internment was made in the Park Falls cemetery.

Mrs. Henkel, nee Adeline La Budde, was born on Nov. 15, 1877, and was married to William Henkel in 1898 at Colby, Wis. They lived here until 1906 when they moved to Park Falls. Mr. Henkel died eight years ago.

Surviving are three sons, Clyde of South St. Paul, Minn., Richard of Cascade and Norman of Sheboygan; two sisters, Mrs. Angeline Blanchard of Wausau and Mrs. A. X. Umhoefer of Colby; three grand children, Miss Lorraine Henkel of South St. Paul, Minn., Miss Dorothy Henkel of Sheboygan and Sgt. John Henkel of Cascade, now in the U.S. Marine Corps.
