Roseline E. Noeldner

LOYAL -- Roseline E. Noeldner, 87, of Loyal, died Sunday, April 9, 2006, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 13, 2006, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal, with the Rev. Daniel Zimmerman officiating. Burial will follow in the Loyal Lutheran Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ed Bauer, Mike Noeldner, Doug Oswald, Robert Noeldner, Wesley Manecke and Gordy Noeldner.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2006, and again from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. Cuddie Funeral Home of Loyal is assisting the family with arrangements.

Roseline Elnor Frei was born Sept. 16, 1918, in Loyal, the daughter of George and Angeline (Schuld) Frei. She attended the Mack School, rural Loyal. On June 19, 1935, Rose married Norbert Noeldner in Loyal. The couple farmed in the towns of York and Loyal. In May of 1981, Norbert and Rose retired and moved into Loyal. Norbert passed away in May of 1986. Rose moved in 2002 to the Hometown Village, where she resided until her death.

She greatly enjoyed crocheting, bingo, sewing, cooking and playing cards. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Rose will be sadly missed by her children, Marie (Ray) Oestreich of Marshfield, Joan (George Tekippe) Newberry of Bismarck, N.D., Jeanette (Gary) Oswald of Marshfield, Larry (Barb) Noeldner of Marshfield, Duane Noeldner of Loyal and Carolyn (Archie Jr.) Vanderhoof of Marshfield.

She is further survived by 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; her sisters, Mary Jane Frei of Eau Claire and Georgiann (Jim) Raine of Neillsville; sister-in-law, Joyce Frei of Whitehall; and her special friend, Lu Raatz of Loyal.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her brothers, Ed Frei and Leo (Marge) Frei; sister, Lucille (George) Pagenkopf; two sons, William Noeldner in 1967 and Kenneth Noeldner in 1939; one granddaughter, Brenda in 1973; one great-granddaughter, Samantha in 2004; and one stepgreat-granddaughter, Missy in 2004.
