Frohling, Louise (28 NOV 1940)

Miss Louise Frohling of Wilmot, South Dakota, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Frohling of Hecla, South Dakota and Mr. Gerald R. Babb of Loyal, Wisconsin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel S. Babb of Wilmot, were united in marriage on November 28th at the Presbyterian parsonage with Rev. Charles H. Collisson officiating. The single ring ceremony was used.

The bride wore a moonbeam crepe dress in dawn blue, trimmed with pearl bead belt and pocketsLame thread sparkling through the beads. A French felt hat to match, trimmed with Red Port Lace and accessories, trimmed in the Red Port shade completed the ensemble. A gold locket belonging to the bride’s mother was the only jewelry worn. She carried a bouquet of talisman roses.

Miss Dolly Hansen of Watertown, South Dakota, attended as bridesmaid. She was gowned in a matching dress and hat of wine velvet with soldier blue accessories and wore a corsage of deep red roses.

Mr. Winston Christianson of Wilmot acted as best man. The gentlemen wore dark suits with the conventional carnation boutonnieres.

After a reception at the St. Hubert Hotel in Milbank, South Dakota, the bridal couple left for a short trip to Minneapolis. They will make their home in Loyal after the first of the year.
