Cutts, Richard (18 Mar. 1936 - 4 Jan. 2008)

Richard Cutts, 71, Spencer, Wisconsin, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2008, at Aspirus Hospital, Wausau.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. Burial will be at West Spencer Cemetery. Rev. Rebekah Tarras will preside.

The memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12 at Community Funeral Home, Spencer, Wis.

Richard was born March 18, 1936, to Eldred and Helen (*Haeterer) Cutts.

He graduated from UW-Stevens Point and received his Masters Degree from the University of Illinois for mathematics.

Richard married Caryol Damon and became a math teacher. He began teaching high school and later taught at UW-Stout, UW-Eau Claire, UW-Wausau Center and also in Canada.

He resided in Spencer and was employed at Land O’Lakes, and enjoyed gardening.

Richard is survived by his wife Caryol; two daughters Lynda Cutts, Appleton, and Deb Cutts, Minneapolis, MN; one son Rich (Kathy) Cutts, Sun Prairie; two brothers, Len Cutts, Stratford and Ken (Diana) Cutts, Marshfield; and four grandchildren.

He is receded in death by his parents and one brother Jerry.

Maurina/Community Funeral Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
