Pfeffer, Lorraine (Marriage - 16 Aug. 1947)

Miss Lorraine Pfeffer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Pfeffer of Edgar, was married Saturday to Edward E. Kralcik, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kralcik, Sr., Wausau, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Fenwood, the Rev. T. E. Deimer officiating.

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Tasse, brother in law and sister of the groom, Milan, were the best man and matron of honor. Other attendants included bridesmaids, Miss Bette Lallanthin, Edgar, and Miss Alice Bohman, Stratford, cousins of the bride; and Miss Elizabeth Swaboda, Colby; groomsmen were John Ludkey, Edgar, cousin of the bride; Brice Bender, Colby, and Gordon Holtman, Fenwood; flower girl was Kathleen Potts, Wausau, niece of the groom; ringbearer, Allen Bohman, Stratford, cousin of the bride.

The bride wore a gown of white satin and the sweetheart neckline was accented with sequins from her mother’s wedding halo of shirred illusion trimmed with pearls. She carried a bouquet of pink roses. The matron of honor and the bridesmaids wore identical pink gowns, matching pink hats and white flowers. The flower girl was dressed in pink embroidered organdy with a matching pink hat.

The bride is a graduate of the Edgar High School and the Wood County Normal School. The groom is a graduate of the Abbotsford High School. After a honeymoon at the northern lakes the couple will live in Wausau, where the groom is employed.
