Arthur first enjoyed 10 years of retirement while living on Lake Kaubashine in Hazelhurst and then in 1993 Arthur and Leota moved back to Wausau to Forest Park Village.

Always an active member of his church, he held various offices and was very involved in the choir. He was a member of the Golden Kiwanis.

Arthur was always focused on the happiness and welfare of his family, who will miss him dearly.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Leota; and daughters, Ellen (Paul) Devantier of Springfield, Va., and Kathryn (Larry) Mortimer of Marengo, Ill.; and son, Paul (Deborah) Stapel of New Richmond.
