Lobner, Garnetta Jane (25 Dec. 1931 - 9 Jan. 2007)

Garnetta Lobner

Spencer, Wis. -- Garnetta Jane Lobner, 75, of Wausau, formerly of Spencer, Wisconsin, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007, at Colonial Manor Medical Center, Wausau.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, at St. John's Lutheran Church, North Spencer, Wis. Burial will be in Colby Memorial cemetery (Colby, Wisconsin). The Rev. Rebekah Tarres will officiate. Pallbearers will be Doug Blunt, James Blunt, David Blunt, Randy Lobner, Troy Kowalk, Kevin Wood and Mark McKinnley.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Community Funeral Home in Spencer and from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.

Garnetta was born Dec. 25, 1931, in Colby to Frederick and Gladys (Rucks) Kowalk. She graduated from Colby High School. Garnetta married Richard Lobner and later divorced. She was employed as a tech. aid at Norwood Health Care Center, Marshfield. She enjoyed her children and grandchildren, crafts, Yahtzee and watching game shows.

Garnetta is survived by her children, Margo Kowalk of Spencer, Jamie Lobner of Spencer, Pam (Kevin) Wood of Mosinee, Rita (Mark) McKinnley of Rib Mountain, Randy (Jennifer) Lobner of Marathon and Cary Lobner of Mosinee; an honorary daughter, Kathy (Chris) Reindl of Sherry; 15 grandchildren, Troy Kowalk, Josh Kowalk, James Blunt, David Blunt, Amanda Blunt, Ashley Wood, Jordan Wood, Angel Mabry, Felicia Mabry, Mercedes Lobner, Regan Lobner, Jersey Lobner, Kyle Hanson, Erik Hanson and Gus Reindl; and three great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Claudia, and Nikki.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
