A film entitled "Come Unto Me" will be presented at the Lutheran parish hall on Thursday evening, June 17th, at eight o’clock by Miss Trostenson, a state Lutheran welfare worker. The Ladies’ Aid and Brotherhood will be hosts. Those two organizations of the Holway congregation will be guests. The public is invited. Refreshments will be served.

John Kobs and two young friends of Granton, have gone to South Dakota to work for the summer.

Mrs. Theo Thompson left on Friday for Middleton, N.Y., to spend a couple of weeks with her daughter and son in law, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Frank.

Mr. and Mrs. Harland Ecke of Marshfield were among the out of town people here for the ball game last Sunday.

Mrs. Frank Lupient of Wausau attended a meeting of the Ev. Luth. Ladies’ Aid here on Thursday.

Miss Ethel Pearson and mother of Wausau were guests of Mrs. Fred Machlett on Wednesday.

The Curtiss base ball team was defeated here on Sunday by Stetsonville by a score of 7 to 3.

Mrs. Paul White and sons arrived here from Kansas to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Fahrenbach.

Dorothy Thompson and Billy Beary attended a 4-H club camp at Lake Chetek the past week.
