Funeral services were conducted this afternoon, May 8, 1941, for Andreas Lawrence Hansen, 66, from the Griebenow Funeral Parlors.

Rev. J.H. Rostad officiated at the service and burial was made in the Danish Lutheran Cemetery at Withee (Clark Co., Wis.).

He was united in marriage to Anna M. Larsen on April 3, 1901, at Withee. The couple were bless with a family of five children. He served for 30 years as a rural mail carrier from 1905 until 1935, when he retired from his work and drew a pension. For the past five years he had made his home with Mr. and Mrs. Emil Niemi and worked for Mr. Niemi at the Club Gables.

His passing is mourned by his five children, Theodore of St. Paul, Chris of Chicago; and three daughters, Esther of Oak Park, Ill., Elizabeth of Chicago, Ill., and Laura C. Cook of St. Paul; a brother, Emil V. Hansen, and a sister, Mrs. Anna Ammentorp of Withee, besides his many friends of this community.
