Kademan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Kademan, were united in marriage at 3:00 o’clock Saturday afternoon, June 19th, 1948, at the Zion Lutheran church, Rev. O. Hoffmann reading the marriage ceremony. The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Kademan of Marshfield. Janet M. Priem on the organ. The church was decorated with vases of roses at the altar and large baskets of peonies.

The bride was attired in a grey gabardine dressmaker suit, peplums and silver buttons, with pink blouse, white hat, white gloves and white shoes. Her shoulder corsage consisted of pink and white roses. The matron of honor wore a suit identical to that of the bride and her shoulder corsage consisted of pink and white carnations. She also wore a pendant of pink aqua sets and rhinestones with gold chain with ear rings to match, gifts of the bride and the groom.

Supper was served in the church basement at 5:00 p.m. to immediate relatives and friends from out of town. A reception was given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Kademan in the evening for about 100 guests. Decorations consisted of pink roses and a white wedding cake.

The newlyweds left on a week’s wedding trip to Minnesota and will be at home after June 28 in Colby, Wisconsin.
