Jordan, Genevieve J. (Marriage - 17 June 1948)

At the rectory of St. Mary’s Catholic church at Colby last Thursday morning, Miss Genevieve J. Jordan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Jordan of Unity, became the bride of Charles F. Seville, son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Seville of Rosedale, Ind., Rev. N. B. Beschta officiating.

Attending the couple were Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Kiefer of Colby, and Mr. and Mrs. John W. Seville, Jr., of Rosedale. Lillie Rosemarie Jordan, sister of the bride, attired in a white satin gown and carrying a basket of pink and white flowers, was the flower girl.

The bride was attired in a heavy white satin gown, the long train being edged with lace. Her sheer veil was secured with a swansonia headband. Her bridal bouquet was in cascade shape and was composed of white lilies.

The matron of honor appeared in a pretty white marquisette, floor-length frock and the bridesmaid was similarly attired in pink. They carried matching bouquets of pink and white carnations.

The wedding dinner was served to the immediate families at the Hotel Charles in Marshfield. At 2:30 o’clock a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents.
