I am looking for Samuel Avery Phillips (1823 - 1863) who was killed during the Civil War. He was married to Mary Elizabeth Reynolds in Georgia (2 Sep 1885). She was born in Tennessee and had a son, Joseph Avery Phillips (b. 1860).
Joseph had a son named William Avery Phillips my granddad DOB 08/24/1893, DOD 04/17/1968 AL. he married my grandmother Evie Thrasher and they had my mother Evia lee phillips DOB 06/20/1932 who married my dad Raymond Hayes St,john.
Their

I'd like info on Samuel's dad and mom and
