Mackmiller, Laura (13 Nov. 1867 - 16 Mar. 1952)

Mrs. Laura Mackmiller died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Habeck, in Milwaukee Sunday, Mar. 16, at the age of 84 years, four months and three days, a heart attack being the cause of her death. Funeral services were held at the Bauer Funeral Home in Weyauwega Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Wm. Rule, D.D., pastor of the first Presbyterian church of Weyauwega, officiating. Mausoleum internment followed the service and burial will be made in spring at Ashland.

Laura Bauer was born in Weyauwega on November 13, 1867, and lived there until she married Wm. H. Mackmiller on November 16, 1887. She lived in Ashland until 1945 when she moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mr. Mackmiller died on March 18, 1911.

Surviving are four sons, Wm. F. and Irving H. of Milwaukee, Clarence T. of St. Paul, and George G. of Ann Arbor, Mich.; two daughters, Mrs. Wm. (Helen) Lassleben of Whittier, Calif., and Mrs. Charles (Dorothy) Habeck of Milwaukee; one step-daughter, Mrs. John (Clara) Straub of Superior; nine grand children; two brothers, Fritz W. Bauer of Weyauwega and Irving E. Bauer of Fremont; two sisters, Miss Rena Bauer and Mrs. Emma Zillmer of Colby, Wis.
