Hudson, Alma L. (21 Mar. 1894 - 30 Mar. 1952)

Mrs. Alma L. Hudson of Unity, Wisconsin died of a heart attack at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, Sunday at about 10 P.M. at the age of 58 years. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Zion Lutheran church in Colby, Wis., Rev. O. Hoffmann officiating and burial was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery.

The former Alma L. Kops was born in the town of Colby on March 21, 1894, and received her education at the Lutheran school in Colby, Wis. She was a resident of Unity since she was 15 years of age. Her marriage to William R. Hudson took place on June 23, 1919. Mr. Hudson died in April, 1944.

Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Nancy Kops of Unity; three daughters, Mrs. Mollen (Dorothy) Talcott, Mrs. Harold (Margery) Runge and Mrs. Lawrence (Geraldine) Jeske, all of Unity; one son, Harold of Unity; seven grand children; two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Willmare of Lesle, Ill., and Mrs. Art Kurth of Wisconsin Rapids; three brothers, Lester Kops of Unity, Herman Kops of Colby and Norman Kops of Chicago. One son, one sister and two brothers preceded her in death.
