Abbotsford, Wis. - Nov. 12, 1953

Miller’s bakery is closed this week as the machinery is being moved to their newly completed building across from their present location. Mr. and Mrs. Miller and children will live in the apartment above the bakery.

Miss Nancy Zank, who was operated on for appendicitis at the Marshfield, Wisconsin hospital, returned home.

Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Ketcham spent a few days at Richland Center.

Mrs. Alvin Lindberg underwent surgery at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital.

Mrs. Rose Kittl, who suffered a nervous breakdown, was discharged from the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital and is now being cared for at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Pollack. Her two sons, who had been at the Bernard Geiger home at Colby, are also at the Pollack home.

Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Scheel brought their daughter, Mary, home from a Wausau hospital. Mary had undergone surgery there and had been hospitalized for several weeks.

Mr. and Mrs. F. B. Wing left for Phoenix, Ariz., where they will spend the winter.

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Leichtnam and daughter spent several days in Kewaunee and Algoma with her sisters.

Mrs. Gust Brechlin, who had been a patient at the Medford Clinic, returned home last week Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Neal Ridderbusch and family have moved from Dorchester to the upstairs apartment in the Walter Kraschnewski house on Second street. Mr. and Mrs. William Sterzinger, who had been residing there, moved to Colby, Wis.

Mrs. Hannah Fasbender of Minneapolis, Minn., is visiting her sister-in-law, Mrs. William Garbrecht, in Abbotsford and her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Loos, in Colby, Wis.

Tech. Sgt. Harold Kuehnast of Selfridge Field, Mich., is visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Kuehnast. He will return to service on November 20 for duty in North Africa. His sister, Miss Betty Kuehnast, employed in Milwaukee, spent several days in Abbotsford, Wis.
