LePage, Delia Alice (Yates) (22 Sep 1916 - 31 Jan 2008)

Delia Alice LePage, 91, of Owen, Wisconsin died Thursday, January 31, 2008, at Saint Joseph’s Hospital Palliative Care Unit in Marshfield.

Delia was born September 22, 1916, in the Town of Reseburg, Clark County, to Arthur and Rose (Turenne) Yates. She attended Owen High School. On July 24, 1935, Delia and Edward LePage were united in marriage in Owen. They moved to Superior in 1937. In 1946, they returned back to the Owen-Withee area and had lived there since. Delia had resided at the Clark County Health Care Center for the past four years.

Delia had been employed at the Lunch Box Restaurant in Withee for several years and at the Master Package Corporation in Owen for many years. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and St. Monica’s Circle in its PCCW. Delia also was a member of the Royal Neighbor’s of America. She enjoyed camping with her camping trailer at Tee Pee Campground in Holcombe, cooking, playing cards, pets, and spending time with family and friends.

Delia is survived by three daughters, Barbara (James) Maurina of Dorchester, Dianne (Michael Glynn) LePage of Mounds View, Minn., and Nancy (William) Telford of Wausau; two sons, Jerome (Sheila) LePage of Withee and Arthur "Snooky" LePage of Withee; 14 grandchildren, Michelle Maurina, Scott (Linda) Maurina, Julie (Bill) Brunker, Chris (Shannon) Maurina, Nathan LePage, Lori (Mark) Dawson, Rick (Brue) LePage, Lisa Sulzbach, Jeff (fiancé e Patty Hoff) Sulzbach, Chad Sulzbach, Michael (Pam) Telford, Joel (Sue) Telford, Beth (Ryan) Sommer, and Julie (Chad) Franklin; 17 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Betty LePage of Owen and Ardelle Auberg of Owen; and many nieces and nephews.

Delia is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward, in January 1999; one infant daughter; one daughter-in-law, Betty LePage; one twin sister, Della Iverson; and one sister, Dora Smith.

Funeral services were on Monday, February 4, 2008, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Owen with Father Ben Franklin presiding. Delia’s grandsons served as pallbearers.

Maurina Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
