Bradshaw, Arthur S. (1886? - 5 AUG 1941)

Arthur S. Bradshaw, 55, custodian at the Harrison School, died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 1941, at his home, 4328 Charles Street in Omaha, Neb. His death was due to a heart attack. A World War veteran and member of the American Legion, he had lived in Omaha 17 years, previously having lived in this vicinity. Surviving are his wife, Martha, daughter, Beverly, son William, sister, Mrs. Viola Javins of Portland, Oregon, tow brothers, James of Klamath Falls, Oregon and Ellsworth of Cisco, Ill., a sister-in-law, Mrs. Dennis Bradshaw of Binghamton, N.Y.

The body lay in state at "In the Garden" Chapel until Saturday noon. Funeral services were conducted at 3:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon at the St. Paul Methodist Church with Rev. A.K. Williams officiating. Burial services were conducted by the American Legion in the Hillcrest "Singing Tower" Memorial Cemetery.
