Hardy, Mrs. Chester (20 JAN 1909 - 23 AUG 1941)

Mrs. Chester Hardy of Belvedere, Ill., daughter-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Hardy of the town of Reseburg (Clark Co., Wis.), died at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Belvedere of a complication of ailments on Aug. 23, 1941.

She was born at Minot, N.D., Jan. 20, 1909, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Montgomery, and had reached the age of 32 years. On March 13, 1937, she was united in marriage to Chester Hardy of Woodstock, Ill.

She is survived by her husband and mother, eight brothers, Frank, John and Ted Montgomery of Ural, Mont., Tom and Joseph Montgomery of Harvard, Ill., and Carl, Robert and Albert of Belvedere, Ill.; two sisters, Miss Ann Montgomery, R.N>, of Oak Terrace, Minn., and Mrs. Harold Matzke of Mankato, Minn.

The funeral was held at Witbeck-Wheeler Funeral home, Belvedere, at two p.m., Aug. 28 with interment in Belvedere Cemetery.
