Buss, Mary (27 JUN 1942)

On Saturday afternoon, June 27, 1942, at 2:30 o’clock, Miss Mary Buss, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Buss, became the bride of Reuben Rossman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Rossman, all of Reseburg (Clark Co., Wis.). The wedding took place at the St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Rev. F.H. Sprengler performing the ceremony.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a white organza gown with a fingertip veil and she carried a bouquet of mixed roses and baby breath.

The bride was attended by Clara Roesler of Eau Claire, who wore a pink organza gown, and Florence Johnson of Eau Claire, who wore a blue organza gown. They wore headbands to match and carried bouquets similar to that of the bride’s.

The groom was attended by Robert Buss and William Roesler. They wore conventional blue suits with rose boutonnieres.

Mrs. Donald Marshall sang "O Promise Me," and "I Love You Truly," and wedding music was played by Miss Inez Rossman.

A wedding supper was served at the home of the bride’s parents to immediate relatives. A well attended wedding dance was held at Mileaway Pavilion in the evening. The couple will reside on the groom’s father’s farm.
