Miss Darlene R. Molle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Molle of Unity, Wis., and Eugene J. Prien, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Prien of Riplinger, Wis., exchanged marriage vows at a candle light ceremony Wednesday, April 20, at St. John’s Lutheran church of Riplinger, Rev. August A. Quandt reading the marriage ceremony. Miss Juanita Molle, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and Mrs. Milton Prien, Sr., of Spencer, was bridesmaid. The groom was attended by his brother, Milton Prien, Sr. Miss Paulette Zimmerman, a niece of the bride, was flower bearer and Richard Radtke, nephew of the groom, was ring bearer. The wedding march was played by the groom’s sister, Mrs. Gerald Radtke of Medford. Miss Carol Fravert of Spencer sang "Because" and "Oh, Come, Lord, Thou Didn’t Appear," accompanied by Mrs. Gerald Radtke.

The bride was attired in a gown of white satin sheer over satin, train edged with lace, finger tip veil and a double strand of pearls. Her bouquet consisted of Easter lilies. Her attendants wore dresses of moiré taffeta with matching bonnets, in green and yellow, respectively, with double strands of pearls. The mothers of the bride and groom wore corsages of pink delight carnations.

A wedding reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents and which was decorated with yellow and white and green streamers, a large white bell and a wedding cake.

The couple left on a wedding trip to the southern part of the state, and, on their return, will be at home at Riplinger where the groom is employed at the box factory.

The bride is a graduate of Unity High School, class of 1946, and the groom is a graduate of Colby, Wis. High School, class of 1946.
