Anderson, Marie B. (Marriage - 8 July 1950)

Miss Marie B. Anderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Anderson, and James P. Wilde, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. James P. Wilde, Sr., were united in marriage at Abbotsford Saturday, July 8th, Justice R. H. Treat reading the marriage vows. The couple was attended by their friends, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Mueller.

The bride was attired in a blue suit and wore white accessories. Her corsage consisted of a white rose surrounded by red rose buds. Mrs. Mueller wore a white and black pin-checked suit and wore white accessories. Her corsage consisted of a red rose and rose buds surrounded by white carnations. Both of the mothers wore navy print dresses and corsages of pink and white carnations.

A 5:30 o’clock supper was served the immediate families at the home of the bride’s parents which was decorated with white, pink and blue streamers. In the evening, a reception was held at the Eau Pleine Rifle Club’s club house. Out of town guests were from Medford, Stetsonville, Curtiss, Dorchester, Abbotsford, Marshfield, Loyal and Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The couple, now making their home in an apartment at the home of the bride’s parents, will spend the next week-end at Glidden.

The groom is employed by his father, a painter and interior decorator, and the bride is employed at the Colby Phonograph office.
