Cushing, Eileen E. (Marriage - 26 Aug. 1950)

Miss Eileen E. Cushing, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert G. Cushing of Hibbing, Minn., formerly of Colby, and Roger E. Larsen, son of Mrs. Jennie Larsen of Denver, Colo., were united in marriage at the Blessed Sacrament church at Hibbing Saturday, Aug. 26. Miss Joyce Sullivan was maid of honor and William Denzin of Denver was best man. Ushers were Leo. R. Cushing, brother of the bride, and Ralph Deger.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attired in a gown of rose pattern chantilly, lace-nylon yoke, off shoulder neckline, fitted bodice and sleeves. The full skirt was accented with a double net ruffle at scalloped hemline. Her fingertip illusion veil fell from a headdress trimmed with fine pearls. Her bouquet consisted of orchids. The maid of honor wore a duvonnet frille dress with matching bodice trimmed with appliqué. Her bouquet consisted of yellow roses.

A reception for 125 guests was at the bride’s home.

After a wedding trip to Canada and North Shore Drive, the couple will be at home at 1325 South Logan, Denver, Colo., where the groom is employed as bookkeeper for Hendrie & Balthoff.
