Long, Sherman & Beulah Jean (Divorce - Dec. 1950)

Two divorces were granted by Judge Bruce Beilfuss in circuit court for Clark county during its regular motion day session at Neillsville.

In the matter of Sherman Long, 19, employed as a laborer at Curtiss vs. Beulah Jean Long, 16, Owen housewife, the decree of divorce was granted by the plaintiff, Sherman Long, on the grounds of cruel and inhuman treatment. A stipulation between the parties agreed upon.

Regina Gaier, 50, plaintiff in the action against Charles Gaier, 58, was granted an absolute divorce on the grounds of cruel and inhuman treatment. Both are residents of the Neillsville area.

The Gaiers were married at Marshfield Jan. 28, 1919. A property settlement was made.
