Gorsegner, Clarence E. (27 JULY 1911 - 9 DECEMBER 1991)

Clarence Gorsegner, 80, Thorp, Wisconsin and Green Valley, Arizona, formerly of the Loyal and Greenwood area, died Monday, December 9, 1991 at University of Minnesota Medical Center

A memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 13, 1991 at the Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, Rev. Joseph R. Kraly, officiated. Visitations were from noon until time of service.

He was born July 27, 1911 in Stanley to the late Chris and Pearl (Warner) Gorsegner. He graduated from Stanley High School in 1919 and received his education at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and received a degree in law at the UW. Madison. He married Florence Brown, who preceded him in death in 1980. He established a law practice in Loyal with his son Everett.

He was a Clark County District Attorney for two terms, 1974 and 1977, and was a former member of the Loyal School Board.

Surviving are one grandson, Eric Gorsegner of Phoenix, Arizona; two granddaughters Laurie Wagner and Jenni Rosenberg of Florida; one brother Richard of Ladsmith; two great-grandchildren; very special friend Tosh; one uncle Emil Gorsegner of Lynden, Washington; one aunt, Ruth Baker of Arizona; also nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son Everette and one brother Russell.
