Rhyner, Eugene E. (13 Sept. 1930 - 19 Dec. 1950)

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Rhyner of Abbotsford, Wisonsin have been notified by the Department of Defense that their son, Pfc. Eugene E. Rhyner, age 20, was killed in action in Korea on Dec. 19, 1950. The Rhyners have been residents of Abbotsford since March 1949.

*** Note: Eugene Rhyner has a tomstone in the St. Hedwig’s Catholic Cemetery, Withee Township, Clark County, Wisconsin.  His physical remains are still in North Korea. He was buried near where he was killed. Father: Clarence C. Rhyner b: 6 May 1904 in Medford, Clark, Wisconsin
